In 2022 I got frusturated with trying to get 3d Scan for Windows to work on a Kinect v2 (AKA Kinect for Xbox ONE). Dead links and information that was either unhelpful, or blatantly wrong led me to solving this myself.
This stems from a reddit post I started regarding this. Since then I've been asked a few times for an updated link. Here is the file:

Checksums (via 7-zip):
This download contains the x86, x64 and ARM variations of Microsoft 3D Scan, and was originally taken from the "Microsoft store for business" that retired on 3-31-2023.
It includes Microsoft 3D Scan v1.0.25.01, which should work out of the box with Kinect v2... that is, once you get the install done.
Additionally, a start-to-finish document on exactly how to install it and fix the things that break.
This has been tested on windows 10, but other users have reported success with Windows 11.
Some extras, I've included 3DScan v2.0.47.0 and 3DScan v2.0.47.38, however these versions do not play well with Kinect v2.
Still to do: get the device drivers from Win 10 and Win 11, and add them to the package.
Here are the SDKs, Verifier Tool and Drivers as well. Contains 1.8, 2.0 and the 2.2.1905 update with instructions and notes.
